From a farm outside of Kokstad called Willowdale,
Ree grew up believing that a giant snake living
beneath her bathtub would drink up all the soapy
bath water once she had pulled out the plug.
After curing the snake of his tummy ache the snake
renamed her Fizzy-eno-ella and whispered of a
universe in the centre of the earth that one could
enter by following a river of bath water.
The household was built by a small, brilliant field
mouse called eddie the engineer and is powered
by human bath water. It was in the household that
Fizzy-eno-ella met the cunning,witty and charming
Rooster bear and the two of them set about
documenting life in the household.
Various adventures lead to the formation of
Blackheart Gang ,who created an animated music
video for Marcus Wormstorm , based on
characters in the household. The music video has
made its way into both the european and South
African Rez Fest as well as Japanese television.

When not in the household Ree is found in
Cape Town where she is applying her knack for
the fantastical to freelance illustrating.
