Peter Schreuder purchased the very first Apple
Macintosh computer in
this country in 1984 and was
demonstrating his skills in MacPaint long
before his
beloved Adobe Photoshop became available.
Originally an advertising artist with brush, paint
and pastels, he soon
created covers for the
"Financial Mail", "Finance Week" and other
leading publications on computer.
He now specialises in magazine and
cover
illustrations both locally and internationally.
Asked how he feels about computers and digital
art, Peter says, "If
Leonardo da Vinci was alive
today, he would use Photoshop to paint the
Mona Lisa -- even if he could only afford a PC."
