I am a refugee from the land of advertising.

I started my career as a writer in Johannesburg
and Cape Town , but gave it up after four years.
I managed to get an ad of the month or two and
a few Silver Loeries I think.

October 1999 saw me living in the forests of
Knysna, happy to be away from city life and
literally watching my ad portie going up in flames
(my father was enchanted as you can imagine,
having sent me through 3 years of a BA and one
year at AAA school of Advertising).
So much for Babylon .
I was reborn a cartoonist.

I doodled cartoons for the local tabloid for about four years. And now I regularly feature in Biophile
Environmental Magazine and Noseweek Magazine.

I live in Plettenberg Bay , work odd construction
and gardening jobs and ride 120 kms a week on
my bicycle up and down the National Road.
