I was born and raised in Pretoria , went to Art Ballet and
Music school (now Pro Arte) and majored in painting and design.
I also studied art at Tukkies and Technicon .
After being a mother and housewife for almost twenty years
and then getting suddenly divorced , the itch to carry on being
creative fiercely returned in around 2001 (and to earn a living naturally
for me and my two girls ) and so I began doing illustrations for
schoolbooks whilst also starting up Eish Studio our greeting cards
and postcard division.
Usually I work alone but also have a wonderful team of creative artists,
that assist me on a freelance basis . (for  large briefs).
We do all types of illustration work for Maskew Miller Longman,
Nasou via Africa,  Oxford University Press to name but a few.
Ranging from Science , Maths etc to Readers and cover work.
We then also do commissions for private clients ie writers, website designs,
logo design, cartoons etc.  You name it and we most likely do it ;)
 Currently I live with my two awesome teenage daughters, two dogs
and a male cat that came with our home in Honeydew in Johannesburg
(and on occasion everyone else that loves visiting our unique artistic family ;)
