I schooled in Cape Town and studied design and illustration
at Stellenbosch University. I’ve  been working in Johannesburg
for 15 years in ad agencies and design studios for print and TV animation.

I really enjoy doing cartoons with satirical caricature a firm favourite.
I draw at events, finishing caricatures in 5 minutes each.
My prefered materials for illustration are pen and ink,
although acrylic and watercolour paints, marker pens and charcoal
are used as well.

I mainly use the following software programs:  Adobe’s Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign and After Affects (compositing animation),
Maxon’s Cinema 4D (3D animation)) and Toon Boom Studio (2D animation).
